Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Locks in Place for Games of the Future 2026 in Astana with $900K Prize Pool

The global phygital stage is heating up, and mobile esports fans have a massive reason to celebrate. Games of the Future (GOTF) 2026 has officially announced that Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) will be a headline feature in its highly anticipated MOBA Mobile event.

Taking place in the futuristic capital of Astana, Kazakhstan, the tournament will bring together the absolute best in mobile gaming for a high-stakes showdown.

    The $900,000 Battleground

This August, the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace in Astana will transform into a digital colosseum. Sixteen elite teams—handpicked and invited directly by GOTF—will face off in a classic, fast-paced 5v5 format.

At stake? A massive US$900,000 prize pool and the coveted title of Games of the Future Champion.

The 2026 lineup promises an explosive mix of returning champions from the 2025 Abu Dhabi iteration and hungry new challengers making their tournament debut. Fans can expect to see global powerhouses clash, including:

    • ONIC (Defending 2025 Champions)
    • Aurora (2025 Finalists)
    • Selangor Red Giants
    • Team Vamos
    • Team Spirit
    • Falcons, Bigetron, The MongolZ, and more.

Why MLBB is a Game-Changer for GOTF

What sets MLBB apart in the phygital ecosystem isn’t just the intense, tier-one action inside the arena—it’s the unprecedented global community it carries with it.

“At GOTF 2025, millions of fans who couldn’t be in Abu Dhabi were still part of the moment, through streamers co-casting live in their own languages… MLBB brings its entire world with it wherever it competes, and that’s exactly the standard we want at the Games of the Future 2026.” > — William Al-Badeesh, Publisher Relations & IP Licensing Lead at Phygital International

By leaning heavily into community co-streaming and organic digital reach, GOTF 2026 is ensuring that this tournament will be a truly boundary-less, global viewing experience.

    What’s Next?

The MOBA Mobile event is just one slice of the massive multi-discipline program defining GOTF 2026, which runs from July 29 to August 9, 2026.
