    Lillymo Games has officially announced that Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege will be launching on Monday, April 20th, 2026. This retro-inspired, blood-soaked action-platformer is coming to PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and the upcoming Switch 2.

    The Holy War Begins

    Set against the dark backdrop of late-17th-century Europe, you play as Rudiger, an ex-soldier forced out of retirement to save the Holy Roman Empire. Your target? The corrupt Father Pacer, a priest who has unleashed a demonic uprising to cement his own power.

    Equipped with the titular Spear of Sacrilege, you’ll navigate a world filled with crunchy pixelated gore and a haunting gothic atmosphere that feels like a long-lost NES classic.

    Key Gameplay Features:

    • Classic Challenge: Heavily inspired by the original Castlevania, featuring locked jump arcs, stiff movement, and deliberate, tactical combat.
    • Massive Scope: Fight your way through 21 handcrafted stages and face down 7 monstrous bosses.
    • Co-Op Chaos: Play the entire campaign in 2-player local co-op. Be careful, though—friendly fire is active, making your spear just as dangerous to your partner as it is to the demons.
    • Upgrades & Secrets: Unlock animal familiars, new abilities, and power-ups to help you survive.
    • Player Choice: Your actions matter. Help or hurt those you encounter to influence the story and reach multiple endings.
