The wait for one of the most anticipated sci-fi tactical shooters of the year is officially getting a massive reality check—and your PC’s hardware might need one too.
NC (formerly NCSOFT), in partnership with developer BigFire Games, has officially launched the Steam store page for CINDER CITY (previously known to investors and fans as Project LLL). Global players can now wishlist the title, explore high-res screenshots, dive into key gameplay features, and check out the freshly released Developer Video Preview.
Take Back a Fallen Future
Set in a stunning, dystopian, near-future Seoul, CINDER CITY is an open-world, cinematic third-person shooter that blends rich narrative design with massive multiplayer PvE encounters.
The story drops players into an alternate timeline where the 21st century has collided with 23rd-century technology. Taking on the role of an enhanced Cinderknight, players must navigate a city overrun by mutated creatures and a malicious criminal syndicate known as the Hyde group. Your core objective? Dive deep into a narrative-driven campaign to help a protagonist named Seven rescue his missing daughter, Joi, and reclaim the future of humanity.
Key Game Features Revealed on Steam:
- Tactical Open-World Warfare: Utilise advanced high-tech gadgets like surveillance drones and cloaking stealth gear.
- Heavy Duty Vehicles: Traverse the ruins of Seoul utilising high-speed bikes, aircraft, and heavily armed power loader mechs.
- Scale Up the Threat: Engage in everything from solo narrative missions to massive world raids, instanced dungeons, and dynamic open-world events that require coordinated team play.
- Cutting-Edge Tech: Built to push visual boundaries, the game leverages immersive graphical tech including support for NVIDIA’s DLSS 4.5.
The 64GB RAM Talking Point
Alongside the gameplay details, the newly live Steam page has set the gaming community abuzz with its hefty PC system requirements. To experience CINDER CITY at its absolute, cinematic best, the recommended specs call for a whopping 64GB of RAM paired with an Intel Core i7-12700 / AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and an NVIDIA RTX 4060.
While the minimum requirements are much more modest (16GB-32GB RAM and an RTX 2060), BigFire Games is clearly aiming to deliver a true next-gen graphical powerhouse.
