XD Games has officially pulled back the curtain on Torchlight: Infinite Season 14 — “Tartarus”, launching globally Thursday 15 October 2026. The boldest season yet blends action RPG combat with prison management strategy, introduces a brand-new Hero Trait for Youga, and brings Followers, Pactspirits, and visual overhauls across PC, iOS, and Android.
The Tartarus Mode — Catch, Train, Fight Your Own Inmates
The season’s headline feature is a three-phase gameplay loop unlike anything the series has seen before:
Phase 1 — The Hunt
Venture into the Netherrealm to track down and defeat escaped prisoners. Collect their nameplates — these are your future inmates. Every capture is a potential powerhouse… or a dangerous threat.
Phase 2 — The Prison
Take command of a circular facility with 16 cells over 20 turns. Assign inmates to cells, pit them against each other, or set them against beasts — elephants, lions, wolves, and rats — to raise their power and rarity. Balance their growth, manage conflicts, and shape the roster you’ll eventually face.
Phase 3 — The Breakout
Your perfected inmates turn on you. Battle through three prison levels across six difficulty tiers. The stronger you made them, the tougher the fight — and the richer the rewards. Defeat them all to claim Warden’s Caches bursting with loot.
Spacetime Witness Youga — New Hero Trait
Youga takes centre stage with a completely reimagined playstyle:
