Sales of tickets for The British Motor Show have rocketed as Britain reopens for business.

The Show has seen a massive increase in demand as consumer confidence returns and families start planning their summer activities – with The British Motor Show offering an incredible value fun-packed day out for all.

VIP packages, meanwhile, have seen a massive boom in demand, with 70% of the allocation for Saturday, August 21 already sold and Thursday allocation all snapped up.

Limited in numbers, the VIP package includes on-site parking just yards from the show’s dedicated VIP entrance in Farnborough, as well as exclusive access to the show’s celebrity guests (including Mike Brewer, Fuzz Townshend and Tim Shaw), entry to an exclusive VIP lounge, breakfast and a buffet lunch, free tea and coffee, exclusive arena paddock access, a private celebrity Q&A session and a VIP goody bag and car sticker.

VIP tickets cost £99 and are already sold out for the show’s opening day on August 19, while there are just 30 VIP tickets left for Saturday, August 21.

Andy Entwistle, Show CEO, said: “We’ve seen a huge run on tickets since the lockdown roadmap announcement, in particular over the past couple of weeks. VIP tickets have been selling especially fast, with only 30 of them left for Saturday, which we anticipate will be the show’s busiest day.

“It’s brilliant to see confidence returning and British families finally being able to plan days out and get ready to attend large events – The British Motor Show promises them a fantastic, fun-filled day that’s engaging, interactive and better value than most.”

As well as a tantalising display of new cars, when the show – sponsored by innovative car-buying platform cinch – opens its doors in August it will feature the Select Electric Motor Show, an action-packed Live Arena, a Live Stage, motoring celebrities, Retro-Electric Live (dedicate to classic-based EVs), a Supercar Paddock, classic cars, the IMI Technology Theatre, test drives, a kidz zone and a dedicated marketplace area full of petrolhead gift ideas.
