The Game Music Festival has just dropped a massive announcement for video game music enthusiasts and orchestral music lovers alike. The Colors of Harmony, a stunning symphonic concert dedicated to celebrating the legendary 40-year career of video game composer Hitoshi Sakimoto, is officially coming to London.

For one night only, fans will have the rare opportunity to experience the world premiere of a unique symphonic program dedicated entirely to Sakimoto’s vast and influential body of work.

Sakimoto and his studio, Basiscape, have shaped the acoustic landscapes of some of the most deeply immersive worlds in gaming history. The Colors of Harmony will feature meticulously crafted orchestral arrangements spanning his four-decade legacy.

Attendees can look forward to hearing beloved themes from across his catalogue, including:

• Square Enix Classics: The grand, politically charged, and sweeping arrangements of Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy XII.
• Vanillaware Masterpieces: The painterly, fantastical, and time-bending melodies of Odin Sphere Leifthrasir and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.

“The soundtracks might seem different at times, but ultimately, they’re united by the artistic spirit of one creator,” notes the Game Music Festival team.

• Final Fantasy Union Pub Quiz (12:00 PM – 3:00 PM): A social trivia quest hosted by Darryl from Final Fantasy Union and BAFTA-nominated voice actor Ben Starr (Final Fantasy XVI, Final Fantasy Tactics).
• Exclusive Masterclass (4:00 PM – 5:00 PM): An educational talk hosted by popular content creator and composer Alex Moukala, offering an intimate look into Sakimoto’s creative process.
• Star-Studded Hosts & Guests: The event will feature appearances by world-renowned cosplayer Leon Chiro alongside original voice actors from Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, including Joe Pitts (Ramza), Eleanor Bennett (Princess Ovelia), and Gregg Lowe (Delita).
