No Lines, No Flights: Fully Digital Gaming Expo ENDIX Returns May 23–24 with Alienware Partnership & Massive Lineup

The traditional gaming convention model is getting a major digital upgrade. ENDIX, the entirely free, interactive digital gaming expo, is officially returning this weekend from May 23–24, 2026. Available as a downloadable multiplayer experience on both Steam and the Epic Games Store, ENDIX completely bypasses the typical convention headaches—no expensive plane tickets, no massive crowds, and absolutely no waiting in lines.

Instead of watching a passive livestream or clicking through a flat website, attendees download the event itself. Built entirely in Unreal Engine, ENDIX allows players to customise their avatars, use proximity voice chat to hang out with friends or talk directly to developers, and explore a living, breathing virtual city and exhibition centre.

Here is your first look at what to expect from the Spring 2026 edition.

The First Look Inside: Booths Built with Real In-Game Assets

What sets ENDIX apart from traditional showcases is its visual and interactive scale. Rather than standard, uniform stalls, the expo floor features bespoke virtual spaces. Developers have built their booths using actual in-game assets and environmental code, allowing attendees to literally step into the universe of the game they are previewing.

  • The Virtual Theme Park: Attendees can toggle between first- and third-person perspectives to navigate the multistory convention hall and “ENDIX City,” which features sprawling mega-booths, dynamic environmental effects, hidden Easter eggs, and interactive NPCs.
  • Theatrum Obscurum: For horror enthusiasts, the dedicated horror wing returns with a highly curated selection of terrifying spaces. Expect booths featuring monsters bursting from ceilings and stylised visual filters that pull you straight into the nightmare.
  • Instant Interaction: Every booth features integrated QR codes and direct links, letting players immediately download unreleased demos, watch exclusive trailers, or add titles to their Steam Wishlists on the spot.

Mega Publishers Meet Rising Indies: Confirmed Exhibitors

The Spring 2026 lineup spans more than 50 titles across every major genre, striking a balance between AAA heavyweights and indie breakout studios.

Major Publishers on the Floor

  • THQ Nordic: Anchoring the publisher presence, bringing highly anticipated previews of Gothic 1 Remake, Wreckfest 2, Titan Quest 2, REANIMAL, and Tides of Tomorrow.
  • 505 Games: Showcasing the survival adventure Among the Trolls.
  • Frozen District: Giving players a glimpse into the cosy House Flipper 2 – Sakura DLC, alongside Dreampainters and Forgery Craft.
  • Team17: Featuring the eerie wilderness of Silver Pines.
  • Gameforge 4D: Presenting Shelf Heroes and Under a Rock.

Curated Indie & Horror Showcases

On the independent front, players can explore highly anticipated content packs like the DAVE THE DIVER – In the Jungle Content Pack, alongside standout indies like Sea of Rifts, Pizza Bandit, Akatori, and Hela.

Meanwhile, the Theatrum Obscurum horror wing will host chilling previews for THE LAST PORTRAIT, Grindworm, Night Hike, The 7th Shift, and CONFINED: Leaving OKB-134.

New In-Game Alienware Partnership

In a massive nod to the event’s growing footprint, hardware giant Alienware has signed on as an official brand partner for the May 2026 edition.

Alienware isn’t just slapping a logo on a virtual wall, either. They have built a fully playable mini-game directly inside the ENDIX world. Attendees can hunt down the activation, compete in challenges, and secure leaderboard spots for a chance to win physical hardware prizes, exclusive merchandise, and some of the 600+ game keys being given away over the weekend.

Live Panels Move Inside the Game

Expanding its scope into an all-encompassing industry hub, ENDIX 2026 is introducing live developer panels hosted inside the digital world. Attendees can gather at virtual stages to hear industry veterans talk about game design, production, and future roadmaps.

Confirmed panels kick off at 15:30 UTC during the event, featuring speakers from:

  • THQ Nordic (Golnaz Eftekhari)
  • Frozen District (Christopher Lewis & Mateusz Kasprzak)
  • Untold Tales (Robert Woziński)
  • Windup Games (Norbert Litwiński)

How to Attend

ENDIX is completely free and open to everyone—no badges or ticket shortlists required. Gamers, press, and creators can head over to Steam or the Epic Games Store right now to wishlist the client ahead of the May 23–24 launch.
