Will face-covering rules remain on public transport?

We are in one of those tricky situations as the country comes out of the restrictions put in place for the pandemic, comes to an end next week. In many situations, it will be a matter of choice, but when it comes to public transport there is a difference of opinion. The question is if the providers insist on face coverings being worn, how will this be enforced, after all for those of us who have used the London Underground, the Railway and Buses recently, there are those people who have not worn face coverings and nothing has been done about it!

According to the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson he said during the Downing Street Coronavirus Briefing;

We expect and recommend that people wear a face-covering in crowded and enclosed spaces where you come into contact with those you don’t normally meet, such as on public transport.

If you are looking for further details on this? Then you are in luck because more information can be found on the Gov.UK website right here!
