Following a slump in exports in January exports from the UK to the EU have improved, the figures are nowhere near the figures for the same time last year.
According to figures provided by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) exports from the UK to the EU increased by 46.6%, in actual figures, this is from £3.7bn to £11.6bn.
Of course, this is only one month and the pandemic still has a hold on mainland Europe, but none the less this is a promising move in the right direction.
