Clampdown — The Prequel That Leads to the Anime
At the heart of the update is Clampdown, an intense new side quest set before the raw, brutal events of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. Uncover the tensions and hidden conflicts that ignite the story of the new anime cast — and see Night City through eyes that will soon become legendary.
How to start it: Complete The Heist and finish two gigs for fixer Wakako Okada, then wait for her call. What follows is a story of stakes, shadows, and the dangerous alliances that shape every edgerunner’s fate.
Completing the quest rewards you with the King Gear Set — five pieces of iconic gear inspired by Weak Kingsley, central figure of Edgerunners 2, including his signature revolver and legendary outfit.
