The leading Ukrainian WordPress web development company Flexi IT increased the productivity of its team by 40% during the Covid-19 pandemic. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, we developed around 15 WordPress websites from scratch and 7 projects we have on ongoing support.

The firm also introduced Karma bot for Slack, a chat to post the words of gratitude to the team members who achieved amazing development or analytic outcomes. Besides, Flexi IT improved the company-branded presents for the personnel and started distributing them more frequently. One of the first presents were notepads with outlines customized to the firm`s workflow and company values. This facilitates team operations and allows everyone to be on the same page.
Furthermore, Flexi IT launched an internal school for the staff where Tech Leads share their knowledge and experience twice a week. This is an excellent occasion to grow and develop.
As Flexi IT noticed the decline of social activities due to the lockdowns, it introduced its own company events and parties. The company even invited a photographer to refresh the team`s pictures.
Last but not least, Flexi IT invested in the ergonomic furniture so that each team member can comfortably work from the brand-new convenient office chair.
As a result of the steps taken, Flexi IT achieved significant growth in team productivity. Nowadays, the staff members come to work with pleasure and smiles. They form a closely-knit team of highly skilled developers, project managers, and data analysts who are ready to support each other and share their experiences. These employees also managed to turn a boring office routine during depressive (post) Covid reality into a bright time spent with their soulmates or teammates in Counter-Strike or table tennis.
