Google has announced that they intend to invest around $7bn in the USA this year. The move will create new data centres and offices throughout the US and could create up to ten thousand jobs at the same time.

These plans will build Googles presence in nineteen states and it is hoped that it will help towards the recovery of the economy, something that is on all governments lists of things to do.

While offices and data centres might not be the glamorous side of the business world they have a massive place in the plans for Google as data centres are the heart of the business and the regional offices are the foot that Google is keeping in the real world.
